Note: Performance specifications based on 2,000 mg/l sodium chloride, 150 psi (1 MPa) applied pressure, 77°F (25°C) feed water temperature, pH 8 and the recovery listed in the table above. Element permeate flow may vary ±20%.

Caution: Do not run these membranes at a pressure that will produce more than their rated product flow rate. This will lead to premature fouling of the membrane, resulting in a drop in permeate flow and higher TDS of the permeate.

Replacement Compatibility for 4" x 40" Low Energy RO Membranes

Applied Membranes M-T4040ALE membrane elements can be used as a direct replacement for many industry-standard 4" x 40" low pressure RO elements with 3/4" male product water tubes ("stinger style") rated at 150 psi. These include the DuPont FilmTec LE-4040, DuPont FilmTec LP-4040 (formerly branded Dow FilmTec), GE/Desal AK4040TM, Toray TMG10, Axeon HF1-4040, and Axeon HF6-4040.
