1. Who we are and what this policy covers

  • WaterAnywhere (“WaterAnywhere,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website www.WaterAnywhere.com, the official online distributor of Applied Membranes, Inc. (“AMI”) products.
  • This policy applies to all WaterAnywhere-operated sites, e-commerce storefronts, and digital properties where our content or AMI content appears, and where users can post, share, or upload material.
  • Includes corporate websites, e-commerce storefronts, customer portals, distributor resources, product pages, images, videos, brochures, manuals, technical drawings, CAD files, schematics, software/firmware, and marketing materials.
  • We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same from users, distributors, resellers, and the public.

2. Our commitment to copyright compliance

  • WaterAnywhere follows the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512.
  • Upon receiving a compliant DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the identified material.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts or access by repeat infringers.
  • If content has been removed by mistake or misidentification, an eligible counter-notification process is available.
  • Certain product materials, images, and documentation are owned by Applied Membranes, Inc. and used by WaterAnywhere under license. DMCA requests relating to AMI-owned materials on WaterAnywhere.com will be forwarded to AMI as appropriate.

3. What you can use and how

  • Materials on WaterAnywhere.com (including AMI product photos, specifications, datasheets, manuals, videos, CAD assets, and marketing content) are protected by copyright and may include trademarks and other proprietary rights.
  • Except where AMI expressly permits otherwise, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
  • Limited use may be allowed for lawful fair use purposes; you are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable law.

4. How to send a DMCA copyright infringement notice

If you believe content on a WaterAnywhere site or service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes:

  • Signature: Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
  • Work identified: Description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed; if multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
  • Location of the material: Description of the specific material alleged to infringe, including exact URLs, file names, and timestamps.
  • Your contact information: Full name, organization (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Good-faith statement: That you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy and authority statement: That the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

5. How to send a counter notification

  • Your signature: Physical or electronic signature of the person sending the counter notice.
  • Identification of the material: The content that was removed or disabled and its prior location (URL or other precise data).
  • Good-faith statement: That you believe the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  • Your contact information and consent: Name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court where you reside, or any district where WaterAnywhere may be found, and acceptance of service of process.

Submitting a counter notice may result in WaterAnywhere restoring the material within 10–14 business days unless the complainant informs us that they have filed court action.

6. What happens after we receive a notice or counter notice

  • We review the notice for DMCA compliance and may request more information if incomplete.
  • If compliant, we remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the uploader.
  • If a valid counter notice is received, we forward it to the complainant. Unless the complainant files legal action, we may restore the material after the statutory period.
  • We may suspend or terminate repeat infringers.

7. Non-copyright issues

This policy applies only to copyright. For trademark, patent, publicity, privacy, product safety, or other issues, contact us through the appropriate website channels.

8. Third-party platforms and hosting

Some AMI content may be hosted or mirrored by third parties such as cloud providers or marketplaces. Their procedures may apply in addition to ours.
