Payment and Recurring Billing Policy

1. Accepted payment methods

  • Major credit/debit cards, ACH/bank transfer (where available), digital wallets (Shop Pay, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay).
  • All payments are processed securely via our third-party payment processors.
  • We do not store full card details on our servers.

2. Pricing, currency, and taxes

  • Prices are shown in U.S. Dollars unless stated otherwise.
  • Applicable taxes, duties, and shipping are added at checkout based on delivery address.
  • Promotional pricing and discounts apply only within stated periods and terms.

3. Order authorization and billing

  • By placing an order, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method for the total shown at checkout.
  • Orders may be declined or canceled for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or product unavailability.

4. Recurring subscriptions (filter replacements and service plans)

  • Eligible products may be offered on subscription (e.g., membranes, filters, kits).
  • Other product subscription features may be introduced in the future; details will appear at checkout when available.
  • You authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method at the stated interval (e.g., every 3/6/12 months) until canceled.
  • Initial order confirmation includes subscription details; subsequent renewals generate a receipt via email.

5. Billing cycle and auto-renewal

  • Subscriptions renew automatically on the renewal date; if a renewal date falls on a non-business day, billing may occur on the next business day.
  • If an order ships early or is delayed, billing may occur upon shipment; you will be notified of material changes.

6. Trials and introductory offers

  • If a trial or introductory rate applies, you will be charged the standard price at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Trials are limited to one per customer unless stated otherwise.

7. Price changes

  • We may change subscription pricing with at least 15 days’ notice by email or on-site notice.
  • Continued use or failure to cancel before the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

8. Failed payments

  • If a recurring charge fails, we may retry the payment and notify you to update your payment method.
  • We may suspend shipments or service until payment is resolved.
  • If not resolved within 14 days, the subscription may be canceled.

9. Updating payment information

  • You can update payment details in your account or by contacting us.
  • Updating your payment method constitutes authorization to charge the new method for current and future charges.

10. Skips, changes, and cancellations

  • You may skip a shipment, change frequency, or cancel at any time before the next renewal cutoff shown in your account (typically 48 hours before the renewal date).
  • Changes made after the cutoff may apply to the following cycle.
  • Cancellations do not grant refunds for orders already processed or shipped.

11. Refunds and returns

  • One-time purchases: Refunds follow our Warranty Policy; shipping fees are non-refundable unless we are at fault.
  • Subscriptions: Prepaid or current cycle charges are non-refundable once processed; unopened items may be returnable per our Return Policy.
  • Defective or incorrect items will be repaired, replaced, or refunded per our Warranty Policy.

12. Proration

  • If you upgrade or downgrade a subscription mid-cycle, we may prorate charges or apply a credit to the next invoice, as applicable.

13. Chargebacks and disputes

  • Please contact us first to resolve billing issues. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension.
  • We will provide evidence to the processor for any disputed transactions.

14. Shipping timing for subscription renewals

  • Renewal orders typically ship within 3 business days after billing, subject to stock and carrier availability.
  • Delivery times vary by destination; see our Shipping Policy.

15. Invoices and records

  • We email order confirmations and receipts; past invoices are available in your account.
  • Please retain copies for your records.

16. Security and data privacy

  • Payments are processed by PCI-compliant providers.
  • Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

17. Third-party processors

  • We may use processors such as Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and PayPal. Your payment is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

18. Eligibility and restrictions

  • You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to purchase.
  • Commercial buyers may have additional terms via written agreement.

19. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
