Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) has long been utilized to reduce impurities in potable water. It is widely recognized for its adsorption capacity plus its ability to reduce dissolved organics and chemicals such as chlorine. These and other impurities can cause undesirable taste, odor and color in water.
Note: T28, T33 & T40 carbon now use the same coconut shell acid washed carbon media. T33 & T40 models are completely interchangeable.Omnipure CL Series & K Series inline carbon filters come in a variety of end connections. The last two digits of the part number specify the end connection for that model:
