DUPONT FILMTEC™ XLE PRO-2540 Low Energy Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element
FILMTEC XLE PRO-2540 Elements offer better system performance and economics for small commercial systems by operating at very low applied pressure. DUPONT DOW FILMTEC XLE PRO-2540 elements are tape-wrapped, built with the same high quality membranes and materials of construction as industrial elements, except for the hard outershell, and are more economical for commercial systems with one or two elements per housing. It may be cleaned over a wide pH range (pH 1-13) for the most effective cleaning. In addition to high quality water and low energy costs, FILMTEC membranes also deliver savings by providing long lasting and reliable performance.
FILMTEC Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Elements can separate salts from water and are produced with an automated fabrication process for precision, consistency, and reliability. FILMTEC RO membranes build on a tradition of leadership in the thin-film composite membrane industry and meet the challenges of higher rejection in lower-pressure operations.
DOW and Dupont merged and DOW FilmTec membranes are now sold as DUPONT FilmTec. FilmTec XLE-2540 membrane element has been discontinued by the manufacturer. XLE PRO-2540 is the direct replacement.
